Join Computers for Enhanced Education (CEE) in Lilongwe as our Programs Manager and contribute to the advancement of ICT education in Malawian schools. As a key member of the Programs team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement program strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgeting for programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, making informed decisions to keep programs on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders, updating them on program progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables by implementing and monitoring standards and best practices.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and manage program timelines, keeping projects on schedule.
  • Problem Solving: Address issues and challenges that arise during program execution, finding effective solutions.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, considering both personnel and materials required for program success.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish metrics and key performance indicators to assess program success and make data-driven improvements.
  • Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive reports to leadership, summarizing program status and outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure programs adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement within programs and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Grants Writing: Lead the grant writing process, including researching funding sources, drafting proposals, and submitting compelling grant applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.
  • Experience in proposal writing.
