Celebrating the Completion of the Mpamba CDSS Computer Laboratory Project

In 2025, Computers for Enhanced Education secured funding from Mudzi Connect for the Mpamba CDSS Computer Laboratory Construction Project in Nkhatabay District, Malawi. Today, we are proud to celebrate its successful completion. This project was made possible through true community-led development. Mudzi Connect provided a grant of MK 8,719,980. The Mpamba community contributed MK 3,897,812 in cash and MK 3,954,000 in-kind support, which represents 47.4% of the total project cost, bringing the total project value to MK 16,571,792. A fully functional ICT laboratory has now been built and is already transforming learning for 587 students at Mpamba CDSS by improving access to digital skills and practical computer lessons.

The project has also strengthened teaching through digital tools like Kolibri and created local employment during construction. We sincerely thank Mudzi Connect for believing in this initiative and the Mpamba community for their strong commitment, unity, and ownership that made this success possible.
